wow, it's wednesday?! Elle's studio reveal.

seriously this week has just FLOWN by!  We have been doing the last minute things for back to school next week! (school shopping, dr. visits, dentist, shots) then it's the other "normal" stuff: scouts, youth group (mutual), piano, gym, soccer practice...with ALL that going on I don't think I really noticed that it's AUGUST!!  With the beginning of August I can share my FIRST layouts that I've made for Elle's Studio!  I'm just going to share one with you today:

LOVE this technique of popping the pictures out from the page on pop dots:
I even used a rubon (you can just BARELY see it):
for the title I used my distress ink to ink the paper to make it darker, simple technique but it packs a punch!  I just kept adding ink to get the color that I wanted.
these pictures were actually taken last Thanksgiving in my in-laws yard, they have various interesting "props" to shoot on and in.  I've been going there for at least 18 years and I NEVER knew this car was up in the tall grass--AWESOME find!  these two girls were willing to jump right in and do just what I asked them to do--and they had FUN! :)
Thanks SO much for the visit!! Stay tuned for more Elle's studio in the near future! ;)  If you don't want to wait AND you want to see what the rest of the design team did check it out HERE!
