This wonderful little mini was featured on the American Crafts blog a few weeks ago with a tutorial--the tutorial can be seen HERE.:

I made this sweet little mini for a friend who *JUST* had a baby--loved working with the Polka Dot party line of paper!

my love.

Hello!  thanks for visiting today.  I wanted to share a special layout that was up on the Scrapbook Circle blog this week--I used the So Happy Together kit.
The picture featured on this page is my FAVORITE from my wedding day.  I LOVE the look on my new hubby's face--it's been almost 17 years and I LOVE that man of mine WAY more than I did that day--something I couldn't imagine then!  My focus on this layout was to feature all the WONDERFUL hearts (or some of them) that are in the kit...

thanks again for the visit!  Life has taken a busy turn for me but I'm still here trucking a long--thanks again for the visit!

sand dollar.

hello!  yes, I have been away spending a MUCH needed fall break with my family AWAY from computerlandia...ANYWAY, I wanted to share with you a layout that was featured on the Scrapbook Circle blog last week:
I got to feature the different fonts that are included in the So Happy Together kit for this month.
little closeup:
This picture makes me smile, my girl had JUST found a WHOLE sand dollar in the ocean...(kind of made up for the NOT so good soccer game that was played in the tournament.)  I really like the capture of the true excitement on her face, I also like the fact that her little brother is in the background--he wanted one too!  It wasn't meant to be for him BUT the other brother did find another smaller one.  What a BEAUTIFUL way to end the warm day.
I "painted" the background again with a plastic bag and mist--then dropped some gold right on top--FUN stuff!
Hey thanks SO much for you visit today!

rock star.

rock star.  this boy is the lovely age of 13 and is now in 7th grade both sort of tough things.  yesterday I had the opportunity to "shadow" him at school--meaning that I got to see how his school schedule was and see him interact with some of his friends.  we really had a nice time--I'm proud of the glimmer of greatness I see in this boy.
 little closeup:
I used the FANTASTIC So Happy Together kit from Scrapbook Circle--this month's mix of colors and papers--FUN!  thanks SO much for the visit today--hoping yours is a GREAT day!
