oh so lovely....catalog inspiration

Today on the Scrapbook Circle blog I talked about inspiration.  I don't normally look at things and immediately think, "hey that would make a great scrapbook page!"  In fact I've been in awe of people who can do that.  Lately though, I have been really making the effort to do just that--look at things and see something that isn't there.  This catalog cover was one of those things, I pulled it off the front because I LOVED the colors.  I put it in a stack and forgot about it, until I did my cleaning--then rediscovered it.  I laid it on the top of my last things to put away and my March Best Day Ever kit arrived and it clicked!
This is what I came up with:

 A few closeups:

I have to tell you a funny story.  I wanted to use a white background to really accent the beautiful papers.  But it was TOO white so I decided to use Honey Dew mist spray from my stash (it's very subtle but tones down the white)  I took it outside to spray--it was a BRIGHT sun shinny day.  I walked back inside and couldn't see after looking at the white paper in the sun.  LOL!  made me laugh--blinded by the light of scrapbooking!
This kit is selling out FAST, I know there are only a few left so if you are interested I would jump on it.  I know for a fact that the add on has already SOLD out!  The colors are just so lovely, and EASY to work with!  In fact I've used up so much of my paper I have scraps left! :)
Thanks for the visit today!  Hope your Sunday is WONDERFUL!
