it's quiet....so therefore I want to tell you about my kitchen sink! :) there's a layout too!

and I like it!  It's chilly outside and I need a nap after the early morning late nights I've been having.  I also need to make bread, well maybe Saturday as I still have enough for my kids for tomorrow's lunches....I know procrastination!  Do you want to see my FABULOUS new sink?
This is the before:
I don't understand why the people upgraded everything except the sink and faucet when they built the house.  All the appliances were this creme, the stove went last year I replaced it with black, the dishwasher died before we moved in we replaced it with black, my fridge is black.  Are you catching a pattern?  This sink was cracked and rusty and just nasty.  But you use it because it works.  Well when my sprayer stopped working (I use that ALL the time!) a few months ago I sort of loped along.  My hubby tried several different stores could not find the right fit.  he decided Tuesday he had had enough.  I asked for a new faucet with the sprayer in the head (LOVE those!) Oh, and could I get a new sink too?  Please.  Yep!  My handy man took everything out and replaced it with this BEAUTIFULNESS:
The sink is deeper and just plain old better to look at.  it's composite granite, I didn't want a shiny sink that was hard to clean the water spots.  My daughter happily reported she could get the huge 5 gallon dog water in the sink and refill easily.  YIPEE!!  Good choice I think!  yes, this will be going into this:
it also came Tuesday.  I was VERY excited and though interrupted a few times I was DETERMINED to get it done.  Do you see me taking the picture on the shiny cover?

Remember that word DETERMINED it's my OLW.  Do you have one?  It's not to late to start, in fact it's NEVER to late to start anything "if you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything!" (movie line, where's it from?--Back to the Future!)

I think I'll do another post later today to share one of my layouts.  Thanks for stopping in and visiting and reading my ramblings.  Hope your new year is off to a great start!
