This is the layout I have up on the Scrapbook Circle blog today.  I featured the DL stickers included in the News Flash kit.  I liked these stickers SO much that I used them on over half of my projects in the gallery this month!  They are totally fun and unique, I don’t know that I have a favorite.  
I think this is one of my FAVORITE layouts because of the pictures, and of course the combo of papers.  These were taken on a visit to my in laws in the summer--we are standing in the middle of a horse field, waiting to catch horses to ride.  Thankfully someone offered to take a picture of our whole family--we don't do that enough I think!

Tomorrow the kids go back to school after their week long break.  It's sort of bitter sweet because we have truly enjoyed this break with some fun adventures--we ended it with soccer! :)

father's day & day 1 Fall Break.

I wanted to share this last layout that I made for my tryouts for Bella Blvd.  I had a BLAST with this layout, I'm not using to scrapping with purple even though it IS my FAVORITE color!  I took these pictures on Father's day and really LOVED the yellow shirts of my nephews and the cute little smile of my niece--isn't she sweet?

Even though I didn't make the team I still LOVE everything that I made, I had FUN in the process too! :)

today was the official start to fall break for a week, instead of dreading it this time around I decided to EMBRACE it and have a great time.  After I went to the gym this morning we all went bowling.  What I didn't realize was that my girl has NEVER been bowling!  How did that happen?  After deciding that 2 games was better than 3 we bowled, the first game withOUT bumpers.  The second time around the   kids bowled WITH bumpers, they had a much better time!

 afterward we decided to try out a new mexican food restaurant that was pretty inexpensive.  It was YUMMY and we WILL be going back!

I wanted to share another one of my layouts from the Elle's studio gallery this month:

I have to tell you I was a little proud of myself, I don't normally scrap Thanksgiving pictures because
they doesn't always seem to be a "theme"--who cares--it's the memory that counts!  For instance this picture was taken of my hubby's family (they are only missing one sibling), this doesn't happen very often with this many people.  I wanted the paper to sort of reflect the feeling again of a quilt...I think my favorite part are the leaves I cut, I've been wanting to add leaves to a page and these just "fit".

Project Life July29 - August 4

Yes, I'm still participating in Project Life, I'm just a "little" behind in the sharing department...such is life right?  this week was full of the last days of summer, and enjoying the olympics--LOTS of journaling.  I really am GLAD that I do Project Life--the memories are more vivid from those days that I journal and preserve.

Life is in full swing here, SO glad this week we are currently in is LESS busy than last week--that was a HARD week!  but we survived and our on our way to finishing this week up with a birthday party and a game in Tucson (2 hours from our house), it's also the start of fall break and my kids are excited!  We have adventures planned and the weather is starting to get to the point where we can enjoy the great out doors without feeling like we are going to DIE of heat stroke. ;)

Anyway, I'm off to hopefully create some FUN stuff--I have some time!  Thanks for the visit!

 I have to tell you a little back story on this picture.  This is my girl this past year in Jr. High.  She tried out for the soccer team in 7th grade and didn't make the team.  She was a little upset...it was a TOTAL surprise that she wasn't chosen but such is life.  This past year she decided she was going to try EXTRA hard.  I was a nervous wreck EVERY day!  When she came home this day--the last day where they make the announcement she had a sad look on her face and she said I didn't make the team mom.  I said SERIOUSLY?!  Then she smiled and pulled out the paper that said she made the team--of course I had to have that picture for Project Life!  So glad I finally was able to scrap it.  I wanted to keep this page rather simply and focus on the girl in the picture with the happy face.

On a different note, today one of my pages was featured on the CK club blog!  YAY!!  Thanks for stopping by today and letting me share a bit of crafty fun--hope your day is WONDERFUL!
