TWILIGHT

1 comment:
I REALLY liked it!  I went in not expecting anything and liked it, yes there were moments of silliness but all in all I liked it.  It was such a fun time with my friends.  We went to a private showing so it made it that much better....
There was trivia (I didn't even try to win) but my good buddy went Jennie went down and won the rest of us the soundtrack.  Thanks again Jennie!
Our fun group!  Sure was fun to see with other people that wanted to see it!
I went to High School with these girls, (we are making our mascot sign--JackRabbits)
Hubby told me just now he wants to wait until it's not in the theater, is he trying to tell me something?!

Thanksgiving turkeys

2 comments:
I made these turkeys following my directions HERE. Except I added legs, the strip of paper is about 4" and the foot is the letter E cut at 1" on the George Cartridge. The paper is from the November kit at Scrapbook Circle. And yes these little gobblers found good homes! :)

Baby book #3

1 comment:
Okay! Sorry for the quality of these pictures ( I took them 3 different times, different areas....)This is the 3rd baby book I made for my friend who had her baby boy last Saturday, he is CUTE!! I had the best time with this Cosmo Cricket paper & album. My friend's style is a little more simple and I wanted to leave room for pictures and journaling. I did a couple of extra pages for fun!
Supplies:
paper & Album: Cosmo Cricket
ribbon: not so sure
lettering: cricut cuttin' up
jewels: hobby lobby, michaels
machine sewing
And you can't tell but dimensional glue: diamond glaze
I made a card and matching bag, but sense my computer is not responding so quickly and my picture taking ability has left me for today. I'm not going to post them.
I have a bunch of other projects going on right now, but they are pretty much all Christmas presents, but maybe I can give sneaks....(yes I am not so good at secrets, I just get SO excited!)
Thanks for looking! And for those of you going to TWILIGHT, have fun! I am going tomorrow with a BIG group of friends!

Thing of beauty

2 comments:
This just makes me smile....I've been wanting one of these for a long time....I went to IKEA a week ago and bought this and put it together ALL by myself! (Thank you) I love how the albums can be pulled out and looked at by my kids and not hidden in a closet somewhere. The basket on the left holds the mini albums that don't stand on their own. And the basket on the right holds my kid's extra music. I feel more organized....PHEW!! Just had to share, I was THAT excited.

Happy Birthday Mommy!

3 comments:
My mom's birthday was Thursday, this is what I made her:
I'm really happy with how it turned out, it was really a lot of fun to make and of course I learned a few things.  (Bind it before you put big bulky items on so that you can actually get it in the bind-it-all!  The weren't where I was going to punch the hole but they made it difficult to slide the paper to be punched.)  I also loved the effect that heat embossing on chipboard does.  My numbers were not all black, I think they some were gold, glitter purple, and silver.  I just used some versamark and black embossing powder (twice) and away you go!  It turned out great!  and the best part she loved it!  Now I just need to print out this years pictures......

supplies:
Bind-it-all
Crackle accent: Ranger
pattern paper: Scenic Route
jewels: michaels, hobby lobby
ink: unknown
chipboard letters, shapes & numbers: American Crafts
stars & circles: George font Cricut
star brads: Making Memories
Cardstock: Bazzill
stickles: Ranger
