Trick or Treat 10*31

6 comments:
This was one of my FAVORITE layout I made using the Spooky Tales tags by Elle's Studio:
*not sure if it's my favorite because of the pictures
*not sure if it's my favorite because of the tags
*not sure if it's the little bat cuts from my cameo
*not sure if it's because I used a bit of Amy Tangerine Sketchbook on a Halloween layout
*not sure if it's the thickers on the pictures.
WHATever it is about this page it's my  favorite, hope you enjoy it too!

currently. Pumpkin Patch.

9 comments:
* enjoying the tune to some math game my youngest is playing it's actually pretty catchy...

* waiting ANXIOUSLY to here how the first day of high school soccer tryouts went for my oldest....

* planning to make dinner with my middle guy...

* have plans to begin carving our pumpkins...

* hoping that my dishwasher isn't dying, I REALLY do not want to have to buy a new one OR hand wash everything...

* enjoying the cooler weather--except today it's like 91....

* I have 3 weeks of Project life assembled on my desk, it just needs the journaling....

Last week I had some of my projects go up on the American Crafts blog using the Pumpkin Patch line:

I had a TOTAL blast with all of these leaves (I cut them with my cameo)!  The ones a long the side are actually all cut from the same color (the orange) but they are embossed with different colors of embossing powder to make them different colors-FUN experiment.  Funny thing about this layout I had the hardest time coming up with a title--I googled "songs about cars", and came up with the title!  Gotta LOVE google!

This is the card that I made using this same line:
The background again cut with my cameo.  I again changed the color of the leaf from Oatmeal to this darker brown then popped up the leaf with a pop dot.  EASY and FUN!

I'm off and hopefully journaling my Project Life and then assembling dinner and washing the unclean dishes...  THANKS SO much for the visit today!!

Hello there!  I wanted to share one of the cards I made for the American Crafts gallery--I used some WONDERFUL Amy Tangerine Sketchbook!

I really had a blast playing with all the fluorescent colors--reminds me of my teenager-hood! :)  I used some of the packaging from the sticker pack (see the orange grid paper?)  I couldn't throw it away!  Another fun tip--I actually stamped on this, I'm getting more comfortable with stamps and the little touches they can add.
This is a fast post today--THANKS so much for the visit!!

aviator.

I SO enjoyed creating with the News Flash kit from Scrapbook Circle this month.  I put a challenge to myself to create with pictures that weren't necessarily from this year.  This particular layout came from  a picture from last year.  It's like a lot of my pictures waiting for the right moment of creativity and product to combine.  I took this particular picture with my smart phone while my son tried on an aviator hat on in California Adventures park...I thought it looked FABULOUS, he however did NOT.  That is why his face looks the way it does, you see he is obedient for his mommy and let me take the picture--that's it!
the picture makes me laugh! :)

A little closeup of the title:
I cut out the title with my silhouette using the arsenal font....after cutting the lettering I decided to mist it with some silver mist by tattered angels (that is what I used on the rest of the layout too--gives a hint of color without being overbearing...)
That's it for today!  Thanks SO much for the visit!!
