I'm SO excited to finally share this layout I made! I LOVE the picture and the sweet boy who VOLUNTEERED to go shopping with mom--HAPPY the whole time.
I totally dreamed this layout up--LITERALLY, I quickly came down and sketched it out. So when it came to putting it together it was QUICK! I've been wanting to try triangles on a layout for a while. I cut them with my cameo as well as the title (which was free on the CK blog--it's Ali's hand)
mandatory closeups:
yesterday we got a major storm, it just POURED, today it looks like we will get a mini one--I LOVE monsoon season for the interesting storms and RAIN we get!
Thanks for the visit today--hope you are enjoying the Olympics-LOVE the fact that you can watch EVERY event live on the NBC.com website (if you don't catch it first time around a lot of the time you can watch it on replay or wait til primetime to watch).

Project Life June 17-23
This week was a GREAT week--we went to see the movie Brave--LOVED it, and I'm totally going to buy it! :) We also got to feast on some KFC! It also happened to be Father's day week--my boys were watching for the cookies to come out (that was what I gave to my brother & dad...):
some closeups, hambly and Bella Washi with some studio calico paper and stickers:
some old school Elle's studio & hambly washi tape:
Remember THIS layout? These are the clouds from that cut, they have been sitting on my desk. This week I used remnants from one of my Scrapbook Circle kits Field Notes.
I stamped with some Studio Calico (the smile and heart were exclusive to the Pieces of me kit from Two Peas:
more left over hexagons! stamp from Studio Calico--Bella Blvd. Washi...
this cracks me up, little bit of Elle's Studio and Amy tangerine flags...
What I loved about this week is that I really felt like I was using all sorts of things from my stash and they all came together....I can't always promise such exciting closeups of the weeks but I just had fun creating this week--must have had MORE time! The last two weeks were just getting them done, in fact I got them all assembled I just need to go back and journal, but other things have taken center stage....
My daughter and I are going to try and watch some Olympic women's soccer! The opening ceremonies are tomorrow night! I'm TOTALLY excited!! Thanks for the visit!

care free.
Could it be that my son actually let himself relax and let me take pictures of him? yep!
Could it be that he was having a blast and didn't want to stop? you bet ya!
few closeups:
I tried something different. I scrapped on a page that wasn't white, cream or kraft. I have a TON of other papers but seem to go through those three colors SO quickly. It was fun to "let" myself play with a different color of card stock. I used the Sunshine Day kit from Scrapbook Circle. This is my second to last layout that I made with this kit--I made 5 and 4 cards--the leftovers are going to go into my Project Life--I LOOOVED this kit!
So today being Monday is EXCITING laundry day! Woohoo--I KNOW you are jealous! I'm playing catch up with Project Life and Scrapping (hopefully) between laundry and helping my daughter with a sewing project. What are you up to?
thanks for the visit today!
