A few weeks back on the American Crafts blog i was featured using the new DIY collection.  I created this FUN little layout about my boy and his last pinewood derby:

Did you notice the background?  I used the hexagon shapes for the background of my Hooligans layout.  Can't let those precious cuts go to waste!

I sure had fun with all the little bits and pieces of this line--it is jam PACKED with goodness!
Thanks so much for the visit today--can't believe we are at the end of another month!!

So I played along with this FABULOUS sketch this month on the Scrapbook Circle blog:
This is my take on the sketch:
I had SO much fun with this sketch--I scrapped it a little different than sitting at my desk.  I was watching a movie with my family and scrapped this on the floor in the family room, it sure is fun when you get to hang out with your family using some GREAT pics from a FUN vacation! Thanks for dropping in today, hope your day is TOTALLY fantastic!!

For this card I used the leftover scraps, journaling cards and mask from the Portobello Road kit from Scrapbook Circle--seriously came together in like 15 minutes!
Love that it has dimension and FUN color and it was fun to emboss on!  Thanks for the quick visit!

The fabulous kit for Scrapbook Circle this month is called Portobello Road--I LOVE the colors and embellishments.  My layouts came together SO quickly this month!
This is my son and Jake Abel, pretty cool that we saw him at the Apple Store a few years ago and he let us take pictures with him!  He really was a nice guy--THANKS so much for the visit today!

hello there.

For this card I really wanted to feature quite a few of the papers from Jillibean soup that I had on hand.  (this is the final card I made for my tryout).  I REALLY like how this one turned out too!
The hello is in the silhouette studio and is from Jillibean.  For this card I cut some strips at 1" and some at 1 1/4" and then put them at an angle.  Then for the final touch I sewed them down--easy peasy,  little time consuming but LOVE it still the same--Thanks SO much for the fun visit!

#2 layout I made for the Jillibean Soup tryout.  This is my nephew ROCKIN' the goal at his Lacrosse game.  The second shot actually shows the ball in the goal as he is leaning in--REALY fun!
Thanks for stopping by for this QUICK post!

So back in February the Jillibean Soup design team was announced, I was SO honored to have my name come up as a guest designer--seriously EXCITED and can't wait to share what I create.
I did want to take the next couple of days and share the creations I made for the tryout:
The cuts and paper are all Jillibean, This was fun to scrap a 5 x 7 on an 8.5 x 11 page...wanted to thank you for letting me share and for the visit today!

wanted to share a real quick a layout I made for the American Crafts gallery for this past month.  Notice the pictures are EXACTLY the same...guess I went a little wild in the developing pictures--so I used them both!  The background were cuts leftover from another project and on my desk--yeah for frugality!
Sad that these boys weren't both playing soccer this season together, it sure was FUN while they did!
Thanks SO much for the visit today--hoping your day is WONDERFUL!
