I seriously can't believe it's already the end of February-time sure flies when you are busy having fun!
I wanted to share with you a layout that I have in the American Crafts gallery
I loved mixing textures and papers from the Cut and Paste line..  I think one of my favorite things about this layout it the pull out journal, I just wrote my son a little note telling him how much fun we had and how important he is to me.  LOVE this new way of journaling on a layout--much less of a "chore" and more personal.
Thank you SO much for stopping by--I'm off and running!

I had the opportunity to do a lift:
supplies used: Hello Today Scrapbook Circle kit

This is my BEAUTIFUL grandma who will be 94 years old this year, isn't she fantastic?  This picture was taken a few years ago at our annual Christmas Eve party, she had a BLAST with the white elephant exchange.  She TRICKED all of us, she played pouty because she WANTED the chocolate--CRACKED me up after it was all over, she had such a triumphant look on her face!

Thank you SO much for the visit today, hope you are having a FANTASTIC day!!

yes, these pictures have been scrapped before--how could I NOT scrap them twice?  This kid is seriously PHOTOGENIC, so glad he lets me take pictures of him:
supplies used: Hello Today kit from Scrapbook Circle
This page was inspired by a bag of chevrons...funny how little things are inspiring....this bag happens to be the music bag that my kids use when they went to piano.
To create your chevron all you need to do is cut strips of paper, I varied the width of the paper and then just made an offset V.  I'm not to technical as I did this all by eyeballing it!
Thank you for the visit today--hope that you are doing FABULOUS!!

This month's Scrapbook Circle kit is called Hello Today...the mix of papers were very diverse and I just enjoyed playing with this sheet by Studio Calico:
I painted with mist, and gelatos...I didn't really care that I stayed in the lines it was just a FUN artsy project!
So yes, I've been graduated from High School for a while...crazy to realize as I don't feel like I am any older--yes I have aged physically but inside I still feel YOUNG! ;)
Well, I'm on the run--thanks SO much for the visit today!!

Can I tell you how much FUN I had with this layout?  I seriously had fun planning the stars, hand stitching, gesso and gelatos.
These pictures were taken on the day BEFORE first day of school and we had a BLAST (can you tell?)  Love this kid seriously-13 has been a growing experience for both he and I but I am SO glad we can do it together!
I used papers and wood from the Polka Dot Party line from American Crafts (yes, you can use softer colors on a boy layout!)
Hey, thank you SO much for the visit today!  Hoping your day is FANTASTIC!

dirt pile.

11 comments:
Okay, I have been such a bad blogger lately!  I literally hit the ground running in the morning and have little bits of time to create or read (to keep myself SANE) but not a lot of time to blog--I'll try and do better!   I have been BUSY with soccer, lacrosse, and now we are starting the track season.  I am TRULY grateful that I can keep up and be with my children and give them support, I LOVE it! That being said here is a fun little layout I made.  yes, I actually scrapped about a dirt pile. :)  It was really fun and this day was really fun for my girl and her friend:
I enjoyed the creative process of this layout, there is Gesso, mist, and stamping--FUN times!
Thanks for being patient and stopping by!
