Happy Groundhog Day! I am Determined, my OLW

OLW-(one little word) that I want to focus on this year is Determined.  When I saw the little asterisk button I knew I wanted to scrap my word.  And what better way to celebrate ground hog day than two of the same photos? :)

 For the journaling blog I used the packaging from one of the Basic Grey embellishments.  I loved that it had lines on it.  The lettering was from my stash one of my clearance finds at Michaels a couple of weeks ago.

 The flower made with some of the scraps, I used some of the gold flecked glimmer mist, I think it will show up if you click on the picture, it is really pretty in person (the how to tutorial is on the side bar):

Did you know that it's Ground Hogs Day today?  It's sort of special to me as it's also my birthday. :)  It's a cold one today, in fact it's the coldest it's been since 1991.  Punxsutawney Phil predicted an early spring...
