today on the Scrapbook Circle blog I did some bragging on the boss lady Lisa Andrews.   She created the custom word bubbles in this month's Talk of the Town kit!  They were totally easy to work with--and I found myself reaching for them.  I wanted to share the first layout I made with the kit:

These are my handsome boys.  a little background on these pictures I took with my phone.  It was a HOT evening at their sister's soccer practice.  (exciting right?)  They brought books but decided they wanted to play on the playground--it was HOT (did I mention that?) and hot playground equipment isn't the most fun to play on.  Anyway, they decided playing in the dry sand (in the shade) would be much more fun.  They had a BLAST tunneling and being with each other-they were truly HAPPY.  Hence the choice of the bubble.  I was HAPPY when I saw it because I knew exactly which pictures I should use--LOVE that when that happens!

that's all for today--thanks SO much for the visit!

grandpa's tractor.

Today on the Scrapbook Circle website the blog is going to be featuring the printable included in this month's kit Talk of the Town (sorry it's SOLD OUT!).  The printables are created exclusively for the Scrapbook Circle kits--pretty cool huh?  I wanted to share a layout I made using those printables:

Let me point them out to you as you might not know where to look!  see the circle with arrows on it & the I love tag?  Yep those I printed at home! ;)

these pictures have been waiting for a home for a while now.  I couldn't decide which one I liked the most so I printed several different ones--these cousins are SO silly.  They LOVE grandpa's tractor--especially the boys (of course!) I had to get them all on it..well most of them anyway...

thanks for the visit today--I sure hope it's a GREAT one for you!

Guesting at SEI. handsome fella.

So I'm guesting all this week on the SEI blog!  I had a GREAT time playing with some pretty paper and making fun things--yes, you are going to have to WAIT until they go up over on the SEI blog before I share them here!
But never fear I can share another layout I made for the Bella Blvd. tryouts:

this picture cracks me up!  my hubby was meeting us at one of my daughter's tracks meet last year and he wanted us to bring a hat.  this is the way my boy decided to carry it--hilarious!
this is a drive by today.  I have a man coming to fix a crack in my windshield--yeah for car insurance!  thanks for the visit!

banyan tree.

7 comments:
today on the Elle's studio blog this new sketch went up:
I decided to scrap some of my Hawaii pictures with this sketch--it was a great spring board for a layout for me, here's my take:

This tree was AWESOME!  It is all ONE tree--it's so large it takes up the whole park--TOTALLY AMAZING!  If you're ever in Maui this is worth a stop!

closeups:
If you want to play a long with the sketch there is a $5 gift certificate for Elle's studio goodies!  The winner is selected randomly, this week's sketch is fun--so try it!  Be sure to link up your pages to the Elle's studio gallery HERE.  Then link back to the blog.
Thanks for the visit today!!
